PLANNING THE EVENT
This team has conceived, planned and will facilitate the workshops at this conference. In conjunction with Central School of Speech and Drama, Gendered Intelligence has funded a "Developing Facilitation Skills" course so that the team can learn skills and practice their own roles for the day. We hope that this sends a positive message to others that being involved can affect change and you can learn new skills.
FORMING A REPORT AND DISSEMINATING FINDINGS
Conclusions from the day will be used to write a report and will be distributed globally across the trans community, as well as to service providers and voluntary sector organisations. The conference and the report will offer an opportunity to those who need to know more about trans issues as part of their professional practices. For example youth service provisions, sexual health service providers, mental health services, LGBT liaison officers, equality and diversity officers, the police and the Home Office as well as community and voluntary sector bodies etc.

Report into Bullying around trans and gender variant people
The Anti-Bullying Alliance is keen to ensure that trans people are not being left out of the anti-bullying policies that are being implemented across schools and colleges in the UK.
We were asked us to gather some of the experiences of young trans and gender variant people in and around schools. This report should be available shortly.
