Trans Youth Workshops
  • Are you trans, gender queer or questioning your gender identity?
  • Are you between 13 and 25 years old?
  • Do you want to meet other Young Trans People?
  • Do you want to build your confidence?
  • Do you want to have enriching experiences and find out information about transitioning, your rights, coming out and much more?

Gendered Intelligence runs a Trans Youth workshop for you!

We aim to ensure all young people's needs are met and that our spaces are fully accessible to all. We welcome young people from all faiths, ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds as well as with different abilities.

Our sessions are facilitated so that young trans people can explore their gender identity, ask questions and address their needs. The group also provides an opportunity for young trans people to tell their stories and to gain support from one another. We run various sports activities in a safe space, there is an annual camping trip, and opportunities to make friends!

We share information on issues such as:

  • How to come out to friends and family members.
  • Understanding your legal rights in school, college, universities and the workplace.
  • How to change your name.
  • Negotiating relationships, sex and intimacy as well as sexual health.

The sessions take place in London, but we encourage young trans people and those questioning their gender identity from across the UK. We have some travel bursaries for those who might find it difficult to access otherwise and there will be some light refreshments served.
