Gendered Intelligence runs a Trans Youth Group for you!
We aim to ensure all young people’s needs are met and that our spaces are fully accessible by asking you before you come what might help you get to the Youth Group. We welcome all young people, our members range from all faiths and backgrounds, including black and ethnic minorities, different socio-economic backgrounds and different abilities.
Funded by the Equalities and Human Rights Commission, the space is facilitated by our Trans Youth Support Worker and other workers to allow young trans people to explore their own needs and to look for ways in which they can improve their quality of life. As well as take part in sports activities in a safe space, go camping, canoeing and socialising!
The group also provides an opportunity for young trans people to tell their stories and to gain support from one another in the various predicaments they find themselves in, given their trans status.
We also share information on issues such as:

You can come to as many or as few of these sessions as you would like. We have some travel bursaries for those who might find it difficult to access otherwise and there will be some light refreshments served.
