Gendered Intelligence Professional Training can enable you to:
We offer training days to professionals who are looking to learn more about gender diversity and sexual orientation. These sessions can be anything from one-day or half day events to a series of sessions. It is possible for them to be tailored to the needs of different organisations and services from across the UK.
In the past we have delivered training to organisations such as MindOut, Walthamstow Youth Services, sexual health teams, Equality and Diversity teams, the Metropolitan Police as well as to primary and secondary school teachers and Higher Education Institutes from across the UK. To read more about the work that we have delivered see our Gendered Intelligence Biennial Report 2009 - 2011 at the Resources page.
As part of our training package we have various resources available. Please contact us if you would like to discuss this further.
Gendered Intelligence run short Continuing Professional Development sessions in order to support any professionals who would like to increase their understanding around trans identities and to ensure their environments are inclusive and safe for all. We welcome professionals who work in education and other youth provision services.
These twilight sessions aim to open up discussion and understandings of gender and identity. Terms and vocabulary will be covered in order to give staff the confidence to discuss and understand the broad spectrum of gender identities. The sessions also offer some insight into young trans people's experiences which lead onto asking some practical questions around how we can make our spaces trans inclusive.
Spaces are limited on these sessions. To find out when the next sessions are available please contact us.
