FREE Theatre Making Workshops
A set of workshops is running SOON at Central School of Speech and Drama (Swiss Cottage, London), for LGBTQ people and straight allies under 25 years of age.
The workshops are part of a bigger project that will be creating a 25-minute piece of theatre on LGBT-related issues, and then tour a production of this performance to secondary schools in London and beyond.
These will be open to anyone interested or anyone who fancies having a go at some drama in a relaxed and open setting with LGBTQ young people and straight allies. In May, five evening & weekend workshops will run and this is when we’ll devise the 25-minute play. You need to know you can attend all five of these sessions so we have a full group for this part of the project.

Tuesday May 6th (5.30-9.30pm)
Thursday May 8th (5.30-9.30pm)

A Guide for those Working with Young Trans People.
The booklet will be produced by a team of young trans people, together with some staff who work with young people. It will be a simple document looking to provide an initial and brief introduction aimed at health providers, educationalists, LGBT and mainstream youth providers and other professionals working with young people who need to know about trans issues. The document will engage with the general well being and broad health care of trans youth nationwide.
Are you a young person or a person who works with young people? To sign up for this project if you are a young person click here. If you work with young people please click here.
