Our Theatre Making Project: Brief Encounters

In May and June in collaboration with Fringe Benefits and Central School of Speech and Drama we produced a 40 minute play about the lives of some Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Queer people and straight allies under 25 years of age. A team of 47 people took part in writing the play, from which 10 members were cast to play the parts. The production was performed, along with a workshop, to secondary schools in London and Sheffield in June 2008.

We are currently looking for a new group of LGBTQ young people to volunteer to rehearse and perform in our next tour in Spring 2009. If you are interested and would like to find out more click here.

The performance and workshop will be taken into schools as part of LGBT History Month in February 2009. If you are a secondary school and would like to find out more or book us click here.
